When you book a trip in the WhereTo Trips app, the reservation itself is made through Nuitée. We find the trip that fits your budget and your vibes. Nuitée connects that trip to the airline or hotel, takes the payment, and stands behind the booking once it is made. This page explains who they are and how the two companies work together.

Who Nuitée Is

Nuitée is a travel technology company. It builds the systems that let apps, banks and travel brands search and book hotels and flights without having to connect to thousands of suppliers one by one. Its developer platform, liteAPI, is what WhereTo Trips is built on.

Nuitée does not run a consumer travel site of its own. Instead, it works behind the scenes for other companies, including the fintech apps Revolut and Grab. Its platform covers more than 2.6 million properties around the world, alongside flights from a wide range of airlines.

Their History

Nuitée was founded in 2017 by Med Benmansour, who still leads the company as CEO. The goal from day one was to make travel booking something any company could build on through one simple connection, the way Stripe did for payments.

For its first several years the company grew without outside investment and stayed profitable, adding hotel supply and partners steadily. In 2020 it expanded with new technology and operations hubs. In late 2024 it raised a $48 million Series A led by Accel, backed by leaders from across travel and tech, including the chairman of Booking Holdings, a former CEO of Priceline and the founder of HotelTonight.

Today Nuitée is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, with technology and operations hubs in Casablanca, Morocco and Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Its team of more than 300 people works across 25 countries, with commercial staff in the United States, Mexico, Spain, Germany and Argentina.

How We Work Together

WhereTo Trips has used Nuitée for both flights and hotels since July 2026. Here is who does what.

What WhereTo Trips does

Builds and runs the app, including the Vibe Engine that matches destinations to your budget and your travel style.
Searches live flights and hotels for you and shows real prices before you commit.
Collects the traveler details a booking needs and sends them to Nuitée to make the reservation.
Keeps your trip up to date in the app and sends you notices when something changes.
Is your first point of contact for help at support@wheretotrips.com.

What Nuitée does for us

Connects to the airlines and hotels. Nuitée holds the relationships with suppliers and global distribution systems, so the fares and rooms you see are live and bookable.
Makes the booking. Nuitée is the booking agent of record. When you confirm, it places the reservation with the airline or hotel and returns your confirmation.
Takes the payment. Nuitée is the merchant of record. Your card details go straight to its PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor, never to WhereTo Trips. Your card statement may show Nuitée or the airline or hotel rather than WhereTo.
Handles refunds. When a booking is cancelled or refunded, Nuitée returns the money to your card as the merchant of record.
Works with the airline when plans change. Nuitée's around-the-clock flight desk picks up schedule changes and cancellations from the airline, rebooks or reissues where needed, and sends the updated booking back to us so the app stays current.

What This Means for You

You pay what you see. WhereTo Trips does not add a booking fee. We are paid a commission by Nuitée after your travel is complete, and that commission never changes which destinations or trips we suggest.
Your card data stays out of our hands. We only ever learn that your payment went through.
Your contract is with the airline or hotel. Each booking follows that supplier's own fare rules and cancellation policy, as described in our Terms of Service.
