Destinations

Places, not airport codes.

Most travel search starts with a three-letter code and calls that a destination. An airport is how you get somewhere. It isn't the thing you're choosing.

What we carry

Every one of them checked.

Not a list of everywhere a plane lands. The set of places we're willing to put in front of you.

1,000+ destinations you can book Each one checked for real hotels, real flights and current advisories.
155 countries and territories Where those destinations are, not where an airline happens to fly.
1,100+ gateway airports The airport is how you get there. It isn't the thing you're choosing.
8,000+ places scored around them Towns, ruins, coastlines and traditions you reach from those gateways.
The gates

What a place has to clear to stay on the list.

Fail any one of these and the place comes off the list, however appealing it is.

1

Can you sleep there

Measured hotel inventory, counted rather than assumed. A beautiful place with nine rooms isn't somewhere we can send you.

2

Can you get there

Checked against actual passenger traffic between US airports and that region, not against how close the nearest runway happens to be.

3

Should you go right now

Current State Department advisories, by name and by region. Whole countries have come off the list. A few came back on.

4

Is it worth the trip

Scored against the vibes it genuinely delivers. Clearing the first three and being good at nothing in particular doesn't get you on the list.

One airport, opened up

You fly into Naples. You are not going to Naples.

Or not only. NAP is the gateway. Here's what the engine scored behind it, each on its own merits. Pompeii isn't Naples. The Amalfi Coast isn't Naples. You still reach all of it on one flight.

Why it matters

The best answer is often one town over.

When the engine scores places rather than airports, the thing you are looking for stops having to share a name with a runway.

It's why a search for Roman ruins returns Pompeii and routes you through Naples, why coastal cliff hiking returns the Path of the Gods, and why the food answer and the beach answer can be the same trip. You book one flight. The scoring already knows the rest is reachable.

  • Scored by place, so the ruins and the coastline get their own numbers
  • Grouped by gateway, so what you book is still one flight
  • Seasonal, so a spring answer is allowed to be a bad summer one
  • Priced as a whole trip from your own departure airport
Curated lists

Or start from a shortlist.

A few we've already narrowed down, for when you'd rather be handed four options than build your own.
